Back to Doha - This Time for Six Weeks

In March of 2007, I made a short visit to Qatar and taught writing workshops at several universities. In January 2008, I’ll be returning for six weeks to teach two intensive essay writing workshops with female students at Qatar University, the national university.

I will be working with two groups of young women, helping them develop their ideas and writings into a series of personal essays which we will later publish, probably on-line. I’ll keep you updated and will post to my blog a lot while I’m there. Please check it out and post comments.
My spring workshops will be starting up again, in early March. Workshops fill fast so sign up right away if you’re interested. One is already full and another is close to filling.

Also check out the fiction workshop my husband Bill will be offering in January, for 8 weeks. He’s a veteran teacher and coach (TrueVoice, the Site)...and blogger (TrueVoice, the Blog). For more information on this workshop click here.
"Bill Henderson is a nationally recognized novelist, an extremely popular teacher and workshop leader, and a very fine writer. He's a peerless stylist, patient and sensible, and not on an ego trip. You can trust him to give a careful reading and honest, helpful feedback. Bill fills a great need in the writing community."
